What will I get out of this program?
Hazardous Areas Course is a post trade course for electrical mechanics to develop skills and knowledge in hazardous are maintenance with a view to gaining employment in the mining sector.
This course does not provide the full Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas. In order for you to gain this you would need to undergo an RPL assessment for your Electrical competencies and complete the following competencies: UEE NEEE017B, UEE NEEE024B and UEE NEEE038B.
Do I need to have prior knowledge or work experience?
Participants must hold a current Electrical Licence.

Full fee approximately $1,040 plus
Approximately $435 for the Electrical Recognition of Prior of Learning assessment.
This is a Fee for Service program, therefore no concessions are available. There are no refunds provided after enrolment for this program unless requested prior to the commencement of the program.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Do you have industry experience you would like to recognise?
Prior to enrolment we are able to assess your skills via Credit Transfers or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
If you have completed an accredited program through another training provider you may be eligible to receive a Credit Transfer.
If you have relevant industry experience you may be eligible to receive Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
